Flower Show, Sept 7-8, 2019

Twin City Garden Club will hold a small standard flower show "Waste Not, Want Not" at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2101 S. Prospect Ave., Champaign, IL.  Free and open to the public Saturday Sept 7, 1-4 pm, and Sunday Sept 8, 8 am-noon. The show will feature floral design and horticulture.

About

Twin City Garden Club was organized in 1930. The club is a member of District IV, The Garden Clubs of Illinois, Inc., and of the Central Region of National Garden Clubs, Inc.  Our programs are provided by local horticulturalists, many from the University of Illinois and the UI Extension Service. Each garden-related program is followed by refreshments and a business meeting. Flower Arranging Classes are held at regular club meetings to provide instruction and hands-on practice in the art of flower arranging.  The club has received numerous state and regional awards for their club yearbook and flower shows.

Membership

Twin City Garden Club is open to anyone interested in gardening, horticulture and floral design.
Annual dues are $20. Please visit a club meeting as our guest!

Programs

Our speakers are professionals from the University of Illinois, the County Extension Office, CCFPD , local nurseries, etc. and our programs are scheduled to meet a variety of interests, so check out our Program List for 2018-2019.  Guests are always welcome to attend a meeting.

Plant Sale

Visit us from 8 am to noon on Saturday, May 2, 2020, for our annual plant sale.  Perennials, herbs, and much more!

Floral Design

Floral  design instruction is held at most meetings throughout the year.  Please check our Program List for 2018-2019 for more details about what you need to bring if you plan to participate in floral design instruction.
